Having read the info on combat stress and how it affects each individual.Combat stress is not confined to battle and wars.It also comes from any trauma. My son iain died of kidney cancer in 2009.Not long after i got into deep depression and suicidle feelings and wanting to be alongside my son.But it a little while later i was diagnosed with PTSD by a pshyciatrist in hospital here on the isle of wight,i was diagnosed not through war and fighting trauma, but through the trauma of losing my son.I have had help from many people and institutions.Thank god they have helped me,if it wasnt for them and my great wife janice i really dont know where i would have been.Thankyou all.
