Albert D. Owens MBE is the Memorial Custodian of the Palace Barracks Memorial Garden in Northern Ireland. A 74-year-old veteran of the Parachute Regiment and former member of the Red Devils.
Reece Troop 40 Commando were accommodated in the well deck of F4 whilst on board Fearless in the 36 hours prior to the assault on May 21. All those guys lost were our hosts.
I had to admit i had not realised that we lost one of these in the 1982 war,now i know RIP to you all.
